Charborough Shoot Days

Charborough offers a traditional private estate shoot, with a limited number of days available each season.

Set across a beautiful mix of parkland, farmland and woodland, our pheasant and partridge shoot provides a varied and rewarding sporting experience. We specialise in medium-sized days of approximately 100–250 birds, presenting a range of sporting birds in a relaxed, friendly and professionally organised environment.

Your Day

Guests are welcomed to the shoot room from 9.00am for coffee and biscuits before departing on the gun bus at 9.30am.

The format of the day is entirely flexible. Parties may choose to shoot continuously through to the final drive or pause after three or four drives to enjoy lunch in the shoot room. Traditional elevenses are served mid to late morning between drives.

Catering

Every shoot day includes:

• Coffee and biscuits on arrival

• Traditional elevenses served between drives

• Afternoon tea with a homemade sweet treat following the final drive

A hearty two-course lunch can be pre-booked and served either during the day or after the final drive, by prior arrangement. Prepared by our chef, the menu typically features a seasonal game casserole or similar country fare, followed by dessert and coffee.

Additional lunch guests are welcome at £20 per person and should be booked in advance.
