Current and forthcoming events and activities on the Charborough Estate:

· Charborough Shoot

Charborough has a traditional pheasant (with some partridge) shoot with the emphasis on providing enjoyable high quality and reasonably sized days in glorious surroundings. A small number of days are let each year and if you are interested please contact us to discuss opportunities further. We are currently planning the 2010/11 season.

· School Visits

The Estate has hosted a number of visits from local schools in recent years. These have been developed through co-ordination with the Countryside Foundation for Education and training under the Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme. The days have included farming (dairy and arable), forestry and woodland management, deer management, the Dorset Wildlife Trust, beekeeping and game management. We have welcomed children from age 7 to 15 and have found the optimum age to be 9 to 12. Please contact us if you would be interested in coming to future days.

Following a very successful 2009 Open Day, we are planning the next Open Day for Spring 2010.

· Paintballing

Or Perhaps you fancy trying Paintballing?  Visit Hotshots website at www.dorsetpaintball.co.uk  for more information on paintballing at Bere Wood, just off the A31/A35 at Bere Regis.
